What is SLDC data aggregation?
SLDC data aggregation is the collection of real-time generation data from many wind and solar generators and its delivery, in the required format, to the State Load Despatch Centre (SLDC). The SLDC uses this data to balance the state grid and schedule power. Rook is a recognised data aggregator for the Tamil Nadu SLDC.
Each state SLDC sets its own data and communication requirements, within the framework of the Central Electricity Authority (CEA). Small and scattered generators often find it impractical to meet these on their own.
